If you have a business in Australia, you might already have a website domain that ends in .com.au. But did you know you can now get a domain that just ends in .au?
What does this mean for you?
As a cybersecurity measure, the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) recommends that all Australian businesses with existing Australian domain names register the .au direct equivalent of their current website.
You have until 20 September 2022 to apply for a priority hold over the new direct domain. After this time, it will become available to the general public.
The priority hold over your website name may also be available to those in other Australian namespaces, such as .net.au or .org.au, so get in quick to secure your preferred website name.
